Today we started doing some of our Christmas traditions. We decorated the Christmas tree. Then we went to the Valley West Mall, here in Des Moines, to ride the train and see Santa. The kids absolutely love doing this every year!

The Santa was great! He was very gentle, warm and kind!
This right here made the whole trip...Monica was mesmerized by Santa!

What a treat to see the kids with Santa - there is such joy in their faces! That's the whole point of all the traditions right?!! Have a great Thanksgiving.
