HILARIOUS NACHO LIBRE FANS!

We let our kids watch a little bit of Nacho Libre, one of their favorite movies, today and this is what they came down stairs dressed as. It was a "kodak" moment (or Canon moment)!

MONICA'S 1ST DENTIST APPT.

Monica did an exceptional job at her first dentist appointment. The dr and nurse commented on how it is unusual for a 2 1/2 year old to sit to get their teeth clean without making a sound. I sat next to her, but I really didn't have to!

They did say that she needs to stop sucking the "bad guy"!

CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS

Today we started doing some of our Christmas traditions. We decorated the Christmas tree. Then we went to the Valley West Mall, here in Des Moines, to ride the train and see Santa. The kids absolutely love doing this every year!

The Santa was great! He was very gentle, warm and kind!

This right here made the whole trip...Monica was mesmerized by Santa!

JOY SINGERS PERFORMANCE

These are videos and pictures are of the Owen and Ayva's 1st performance with Joy Singers, at the Wesley Acres retirement home, here in Des Moines. Very cute to watch the kids sing!! We love, love, love that this program is available to us! Monica has to wait another year, but she sings right along!

ALL DOLLED UP FOR CHRISTMAS

All of the kids love to draw, but Owen especially. We're kind of partial, but we think he's getting really good! He's very creative with his drawing. We're still working on mouths though (check out the hippo).

FIRST SNOW '08

The week of the first snow has always been an up and down week in terms of the temperature. We were very blessed with the fabulous fall we had. This week we started out on Monday and Tuesday in short skirts, shorts and short sleeves.

The coldness set in and the kids were getting out their mittens, scarves and beanies.

Monica went from wearing this black one, to wearing a pink one, to a white one and then back to the black one.

OUT WITH THE OLD ~ IN WITH THE NEW

We've been BabyJellyBean-ers for about 3 years now. While I love how absolutely adorable it looks, I'm trying to cut back. Blogging is free and it's essentially the same thing. So...here's our new blog. I'll treat this blog much like I did our baby jelly bean site. You'll have to save the URL as we won't be purchasing the site name. Baby Jelly Beans will be up for another month or two to enjoy. All good things have to come to an end sometime.
