SANTA VISITS

Our kids were blessed to see Santa twice. Monica is the only one that doesn't know who Santa's helpers were.

PROVIDENCE KIDS GETTING CULTURED

WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T GO OUTSIDE ON A 20 DEGREE DAY?

This is true adaptation. The kids are now able to get all their bibs and gear on and go outside to play. Monica liked the idea of it, of course to be with Ayva, but when she got out there she just cried.

HILARIOUS NACHO LIBRE FANS!

We let our kids watch a little bit of Nacho Libre, one of their favorite movies, today and this is what they came down stairs dressed as. It was a "kodak" moment (or Canon moment)!

MONICA'S 1ST DENTIST APPT.

Monica did an exceptional job at her first dentist appointment. The dr and nurse commented on how it is unusual for a 2 1/2 year old to sit to get their teeth clean without making a sound. I sat next to her, but I really didn't have to!

They did say that she needs to stop sucking the "bad guy"!

CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS

Today we started doing some of our Christmas traditions. We decorated the Christmas tree. Then we went to the Valley West Mall, here in Des Moines, to ride the train and see Santa. The kids absolutely love doing this every year!

The Santa was great! He was very gentle, warm and kind!
