Monica's 4th Birthday Party

Monica's birthday party was an absolute blast! We had planned it at a park, but of course it rained. Daddy and Mommy scrambled on Saturday looking for an indoor location. We checked out the Sleep Inn hotel in Pleasant Hill, and guess what...they rent out their pool! YAHOO! It was perfect. Her "theme" was Littlest Pet Shop. The kids colored and played while everyone got their. We did sang to Mongi, ate our cake and ice cream and then headed to the pool! Everyone had a blast, especially Monica! She was so happy, she had a smile on her face the whole time! Thank you everyone that came (23 kids - 1 of the twins is missing, sorry)!
PS A friend of mine made the awesome cake! I'll be doing a post about it on my business blog soon!

Owen's 1st Game of 2010

Owen has been practicing softball a lot lately. The boys will go outside almost everyday for 30 minutes to an hour, working on hitting, catching and throwing. It paid off at his first game. He hit the first ball thrown to him and made it all the way to 2nd base! Then when he as playing center outfield, he caught a ball and got someone out at 2nd! He was inspired by the movie A League of Their Own a few weeks ago. Sometimes he says that he doesn't like it, but I know he does cause he always has a smile on his face :)

Klutz

*A klutz is a person who is clumsy, foolish, inept, or accident-prone.
And that defines Ayva (except for foolish and inept).
She fell off her bike and clocked her face!
Thankfully there were no broken bones, only a few tears (and I mean few!) and blood.
So thankful that the Lord protected our beauty!

Joy Singer's Activity Day

I took my camera along to Joy Singers last Friday. I wanted to get some pictures of the kids in the class I help and because it was a very special activity day.. you'll see that in a minute. The girls have class together and wherever Ayva is, Mongi is. It's adorable!
Here they are singing, "If I were a butterfly"

"I would HOP right up to you..."

Doing the scales "OOOHHHHH..."
I ♥ helping them!
Once a month is activity day. Two to three parents get together and plan an activity. It can be a craft, games, a special guest... this week the Blank Park Zoo came with 5 animals. Oh so fun!
Yes this is a baby alligator! I love Monica's little finger touch!

Owen's class got to see the same animals, but at a different time. He absolutely ♥ed it cause every single animal pooped for that group!

We are very blessed by the home school programs in our area. They are absolutely awesome!!!
